Please remember that relay for life will run no matter the weather. It may be cold or raining (but lets hope it is warm and dry). If the weather becomes so severe that it is unsafe to be in tents outside (a thunder storm) we will move the event inside and set the tents up in the hallways.
This means that your team will need to prepare for all types of weather. You may need a tarp for your tent and make sure there is no holes in your tent. You will also need to make sure you pack according to the weather. Make sure you bring cloths that you are able to layer and cloths that are able to get wet. Comfortable footwear and footwear that can get wet is also important.
The moral of the story is make sure you check the weather before the event and be prepared!
